Timeless beauty of the Eternal City

Thanks to the Rome and Vatican Pass, I got to see so much! My personal highlights were definitely the Colosseum and the Sistine Chapel. Just standing inside the Colosseum and imagining gladiatorial fights was amazing. Entering the Sistine Chapel is an experience beyond words; those frescoes by Michelangelo left me speechless. I also have to mention St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museums, where I spent the entire day appreciating the beauty of Renaissance art. Now I truly understand why they call Rome the Eternal City.

Ideal for a budget city sightseeing!

My husband and I did a little research on ticket prices and entrance fees before we bought the Rome and Vatican Pass. In short, we saved a bunch of money, because if we had bought each ticket individually, it would have put a serious dent in our vacation budget. Maybe the biggest save of them all is time, since we didn't lose any by waiting in those long queues!
