This was the best Colosseum experience for us! I took my family, everyone loved it, especially the kids who loved exploring underground tunnels. The guide made history exciting and fun to listen to. I was under the Arena and seeing all those chambers and cages where they kept the wild animals was amazing. We definitely recommend this tour.

We took the guided Colosseum tour, and it was worth it. We immediately knew we made a good choice when we saw the ticket lines. Our guide was good and entertaining and told us so many interesting things about the Colosseum's history. Seeing the Colosseum from above when we climbed to Palatine Hill was wonderful.
A great experience
We had a private tour, which was perfect for us as we wanted to explore the Colosseum at our own pace. The guide showed us all the places, some of which are not so well known. My husband could not walk very fast, so our guide adapted to our pace and took great care of us. We really enjoyed getting to know all the stories we heard. All in all, a great experience.

Cavour is on Metro Line B, the exact same line as the Colosseum station.
