Nice tour!
It's a long ride both ways, so be prepared to ride for a while. There is a nice break around the halfway point. We were picked up on time with a group of about 12 travelers. Good balance between tour information and giving us time to see and think for ourselves. Paolo, the tour leader at Pompeii, was outstanding. Very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the subject. He did an excellent job on a brutally hot day of showing us a lot in the time we had, while still giving us time in the shade to cool off.
